Afe Babalola university ranked number one in Nigeria


Afe Babalola University Ado-Ekiti, ABUAD has recorded another great success, as the Institution has been ranked number one University in Nigeria for the third consecutive year.

Addressing newsmen in a press conference at the University campus, the founder of ABUAD, Aare Afe Babalola said the Institution also received high rankings globally in the 2024 Times Higher Education Impact Rankings.

Aare Babalola listed the world rankings to include number one in Sustainable Development Goals seven, number one University to engage in outreach programmes, first position in stewardship programmes.

According to him, ABUAD also ranked number one hundred and forty two among all the universities in the world and number four among universities in Africa.

He said the improvement in the ranking of the Institution was due to quality curriculum, stable and predictable academic calendar of the University, while commending members of staff for their dedication to duty.

In a remark, the Vice Chancellor of ABUAD, Professor Smaranda Olarinde who clocked two years as the substantive VC of the University acknowledged that the Institution had recorded great achievements which made it rank among the best in the world.
