Embrace Unity, Cooperation, Gov Fubara Tasks Traditional Rulers

Governor Siminalayi Fubara of Rivers state has called on traditional rulers across the state to embrace unity and cooperation in order to foster peace and progress within the region.

Fubara made the call while engaging traditional leaders, emphasizing on a past incident involving a predecessor who issued threats to a traditional leader during a visit to Ahoada-East in Ekpeye land.

The governor highlighted his commitment to a more collaborative and respectful approach, saying “I remembered when we went to Ahoada-East, Ekpeye land, to perform an activity, a former Governor openly threatened one of you and warned that if you try it, I will do this, I will do that.

“Unity and cooperation among our traditional rulers are paramount. Together, we can create a peaceful and progressive environment for all our people. My administration is committed to working with you, respecting your esteemed positions, and ensuring that we move forward together.”
