Unknown Gunmen have killed a Point of Sale agent (POS) operator, along Teaching hospital area of Ado Ekiti causing panic in the state.
According to reports, the gunmen who came on a motorbike shot and killed Alfa and carted away with yet-to-be disclosed amount of money and other valuable items.
An eyewitness who spoke to Gmartnews under anonymity said the assailants also shot at a victim who came to withdraw some money from the POS agent.
“They just came and asked him to bring all the money he had, he was jokingly asking them if it’s millions they want to withdraw before they shot him and also shot at the other man that came to withdraw before they ran away”.
“I don’t know if the other man was shot or sustained gunshot wounds, but we could see Alfa in his pool of blood after they left”. He added.
His corpse has been reportedly taken to the morgue by the Police.
You would recall that some assailants killed a ticketing officer of Okada Riders association, on Monday around Okesa roundabout, Ado Ekiti.
The people of Ekiti state are calling on the state government to find and persecute this gunmen and restore peace back to the state.
