Three soldiers have been feared dead after some suspected gunmen attacked their barrack following the the sit-at-home order declared by the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB) to celebrate Biafran heroes in Aba, Abia state.
The military unit is located at Obikabia junction, Ogbor Hill area.
According to reports, the gunmen stormed the military unit at about 6.45am and burnt the unit as well as a patrol van parked in the unit.
Some soldiers escaped the attack, but this could not be confirmed as at the press time of filing this report.
However, when contacted, the Public Relations Officer, 14 Brigade, Ohafia, Lt. Innocent Omale, could not be reached as he neither reply to text message nor respond to his calls.
