Labour Rejects N54,000 Minimum Wage Proposal From Federal Government; Meeting Adjourned Till Wednesday

The Organised Labour have just reportedly rejected a proposal of N54,000 from the Federal Government as new minimum wage 

This report comes after the Federal Government  were reported to have upped the initial proposal of N48,000 as minimum wage last week

Meeting on the ongoing negotiation between the Federal Government and the Organised Labour have therefore been adjourned till Wednesday after the Organized Labour rejected the new N54,000 minimum wage proposal by the Federal Government 

Our source who have asked not to be mentioned said the Government have shown no seriousness concerning the issues as most Governors were absent from the meeting and their representatives like Bauchi and Niger state were not given the mandate to speak.
