A Dana aircraft flying enroute Lagos from Abuja has skidded off the runway of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos on Tuesday morning with 83 passengers on board.
According to a statement signed by the Head, Corporate Communications, Dana Airlines, Kingsley Ezenwa all the passengers and crew members onboard disembarked safely without injuries.
“Dana Air regrets to inform the public of a runway incursion involving one of our aircraft, registration number 5N BKI, which was flying from Abuja to Lagos. today 23/04/24″, the statements reads in part.
The statements added that the incidence has been reported to the Accident Investigation Bureau (AIB) and the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), while the aircraft involved has been grounded.
