Eniola Ajao, the producer of “BEAST OF TWO WORLDS; AJAKAJU” has issued an apology to women and Nigerians over the decision to award popular cross dresser Bobrisky as the “Best dressed Female” at her movie’s premiere
The award which was reported to be a publicity stunt for the movies have faced serious backlash from Nigerians
Eniola took to her Instagram account to express remorse
“I write to you today with a heavy heart, filled with great regret and remorse over the event that unfolded at my movie premiere”
She acknowledged the distress and backlash caused by the controversy surrounding the award and extended her sincere apology to the Muslim community during the sacred month of Ramadan stating that it was never her intention to upset anyone.
In a bid to restore normalcy, Eniola announced that she would be giving 2 females including Bode Alao the sum of 1 million naira as honors for Best dressed female for her movie premiere and also as a token for her apology
Popular Crossdresser Bobrisky on the otherhand have faced serious criticism from Nigerians including popular Nigerian Artist “Portable” who went as far as writing a diss track for Bobrisky. Also Nigerian Actress Dayo Amusa also questioned the morale behind the award.
