The Ekiti State Commissioner of Police, CP AKINWALE KUNLE ADENIRAN, mni, today in his office, decorated the newly promoted Officers of the Command from the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) to the rank of Superintendent of police (SP).
Addressing the Officers after the decoration, the CP congratulated them on behalf of the Officers and men of the Command and implored them to see the new rank as a motivation, additional responsibilities and a call for more effective service delivery.
The CP equally prayed that God grants them the wisdom and capability that will enable them to excel while discharging their statutory duties.
In his Response, SP Musiliu Olanike, on behalf of the promotees, thanked the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the Chairman Police Service Commision, Solomon Arase (RTD IGP) and the Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, PHD, NPM, for motivating them with the new rank while promising to always discharge their duties effectively and live up to the standard of the Nigeria Police Force.
The promotees also acknowledged the perpetual support and encouragement received from the current Ekiti State Commissioner of Police as well as his Management team Members.
Among the Officers decorated are: the 2ic Commander Rapid Response Squad, SP Ogidan Tola Joseph, SP Musiliu Olanike, SP Nzekwe Tina and the Officer in-charge of Transportation, Ekiti State Command, SP Oladipipo Muritala. Others are: SP Adebayo Owodunni, SP Ikotun Bolarinwa and SP Daramola Olusegun.
