The murder of traditional rulers recently experienced in Ekiti and Kwara states has highlighted the need for interstate intelligence sharing and security collaboration.
The Vice Chairman of Nigeria Conference of Speakers, Adeoye Aribasoye shared this view when he led a team of state and federal lawmakers representing affected communities in Ekiti state to console the people.
Aribasoye who also chairs the southwest conference of Speakers regretted the kwara incident saying it shows that the current challenge goes beyond states or regions making it necessary for joint action across the country for better security architecture.
