753 Units of duplexes forfeited to EFCC belong to Emefiele – Sowore alleges

Former Presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore, has alleged that the estate in Abuja measuring 150,500 square metres and containing 753 Units of duplexes and other apartments, that a court in Abuja ordered to be forfeited to the EFCC on Monday, December 2, belongs to former CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele.

Last night the EFCC released a statement saying it has secured the final forfeiture of the properties and said this is its single largest asset recovery since its inception in 2003. The Estate rests on Plot 109 Cadastral Zone C09, Lokogoma District, Abuja.

Reacting to the news via social media, Sowore alleged that he heard from a grapevine that the property belongs to embattled CBN governor, Godwin Emefiele.
