The Lagos State Government has warned residents and visitors to desist from open defecation across the state.
In an advisory shared on its official Facebook page on Sunday, the government urged the public to help keep the environment clean, safe and healthy.
It called on residents to take responsibility for their surroundings and make use of toilets and public restrooms.
“Together, let’s keep Lagos clean, healthy and dignified for everyone,” the statement said, urging people to choose better hygiene practices and avoid open defecation.
