Dangote Reduces Petrol, Diesel Prices After Global Oil Slump

The Dangote Refinery on Tuesday reduced its petrol gantry price by N100, from N1,175 to N1,075 per litre, following a decline in global crude oil prices.

Officials of the refinery confirmed the adjustment, noting that petrol supplied through coastal distribution channels will now sell for N1,050 per litre.

The refinery also cut its diesel price to N1,430 per litre, down from N1,620, representing a N190 reduction.

The development came as Brent crude prices dropped sharply, falling from above $100 per barrel on Monday to about $89, amid volatility linked to tensions involving the United States and Iran.
