The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the preliminary register of voters in Ekiti State will be displayed for public verification, claims and objections from March 6 to March 12, 2026.
In a statement issued by the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Bunmi Omoseyindemi, the commission said the exercise will take place across all designated centres in the 177 wards of the state.
According to INEC, the display is aimed at allowing registered voters and stakeholders to verify their names and personal details on the register to ensure accuracy ahead of future electoral activities.

During the period, eligible voters will be able to correct errors in their names, dates of birth and other personal information. The commission will also receive claims from voters whose names were omitted from the register, as well as objections to names of ineligible persons, including deceased individuals or underage registrants.
INEC urged registered voters, political parties and civil society groups to visit the display centres within their wards to confirm their details.
The commission reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a credible, transparent and inclusive voters’ register as part of preparations for upcoming electoral processes in Ekiti State.
