Panic in Kwara as Suspected Bandits Kill Three Residents

Three residents have been killed following a fresh attack by suspected terrorists on Koro community in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State.

The late-night assault occurred on Monday along the Koro-Ekiti border axis near Egbe in Yagba West Local Government Area of neighbouring Kogi State.

The victims, believed to be members of the Kemberi community, were reportedly ambushed by heavily armed attackers.

Three deaths have been confirmed, while several other residents fled into surrounding bushes to escape the violence.

Earlier in the day, locals had reported heavy gunfire between Koro and Eruku communities, heightening fears of an impending attack.
