
President Bola Tinubu on Monday hosted state governors at a Ramadan Iftar dinner at the State House, Abuja, marking the third straight year of the annual gathering.
Governors in attendance included Hope Uzodinma (Imo), Dapo Abiodun (Ogun), Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Usman Ododo (Kogi), Babagana Zulum (Borno), Inuwa Yahaya (Gombe), Ahmed Aliyu (Sokoto), Sheriff Oborevwori (Delta), Mohammed Bago (Niger), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), Abdullahi Sule (Nasarawa), Abba Kabir Yusuf (Kano) and Agbu Kefas (Taraba), alongside the Deputy Governor of Bauchi State.

Vice President Kashim Shettima and Chief of Staff Femi Gbajabiamila were also present.
At previous Iftar gatherings, Tinubu urged leaders to prioritise citizens’ welfare and national unity, stressing that governance must take precedence over politics.
