Presidential Aide Urges Mass APC Registration to Strengthen Party, Democracy

The Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters (House of Representatives), Hon. Ibraheem Kunle Olarewaju, has called on unregistered supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to formally join the party, describing registration as a foundation for active political participation and democratic growth.

He said the APC’s progressive vision anchored on good governance, accountability, unity, and inclusive development—can only be sustained through a strong and organized membership base.

According to him, registration gives members a legitimate voice in party affairs, policy discussions, and internal democratic processes, including leadership selection.

“Party registration is more than administration; it is a commitment to democratic values and progressive governance,” he said.

Hon. Olarewaju added that accurate membership records improve planning, coordination, and grassroots mobilization. He encouraged greater involvement from youths, women, professionals, and first-time political actors to deepen democratic engagement nationwide.

He commended party leaders and ward executives for ongoing mobilization efforts and urged them to intensify outreach so no willing supporter is left unregistered.

Reaffirming President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s commitment to democratic principles and institutional reform, the aide stressed that a united and participatory ruling party is vital for effective governance.

He called on APC members to remain peaceful and united, expressing confidence that sustained mobilization and inclusive participation will keep the party on a progressive path for Nigeria’s democratic and socio-economic advancement.
