UPDATE: Court Convicts Nnamdi Kanu on All Seven Terrorism Charges

A Federal High Court in Abuja has now found IPOB leader Nnamdi Kanu guilty on all seven terrorism-related charges preferred against him by the federal government.

Presiding Judge James Omotosho ruled that prosecutors proved each allegation beyond reasonable doubt, noting that Kanu failed to provide a credible defence and “deliberately refused” to counter the evidence presented.

The latest ruling marks a significant escalation in the government’s efforts to prosecute terrorism and tackle separatist-linked violence in the southeast.
