He encouraged them not to relent in their communal efforts, stressing the importance of pursuing the community’s developmental goals with renewed vigor.

‎The monarch also reminded the people of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji’s advice on harnessing Efon’s tourism potential. He cited the Oke Sagbonke Hiking Experience held in April 2025, tagged Hike and Dine in the Clouds, as an example of how the town’s unique landscape could be developed into a sustainable tourism hub.

‎Earlier, Chairman of the Central Planning Committee for EfonXtraVaganza 2025, Barrister Olajide Olakanmi Panaf, commended the financial sacrifices made by the people despite prevailing economic challenges. He further appealed to local and foreign investors to take advantage of Efon’s fertile land, favourable weather, and tourism potential for agriculture and business ventures.

‎“Despite the town’s rugged topography, we have continued to improve afforestation by planting trees to combat climate change, making Efon a safe and sustainable environment for investors,” he said. He emphasized that the greatest aspiration of the community remains.
