
There is massive turnout of voters in the Karim Lamido OME State Constituency Bye-Election.
Some of the polling units visited shows INEC staff battling to capture and accredit voters with the Bimodal voters accreditation system which was malfunctioning.
This State constituency bye-election is to replace the former member Karim Lamido one State constituency who resigned his position to take up the role of Commissioner Tertiary Education and members of the state Executive council
A visit to Sada B polling unit 011 and other polling unit voting process are being slowed down by BVAS malfunctioning.
Despite the setback, accreditation and voting commenced as early as 8:30am with INEC officials and party agents already on ground.
At other polling units, voters turned out in large number eager to elect a new Representative for the Taraba State House of Assembly
Some voters including the APC candidate who spoke with journalists expressed concern over the challenges and the eventual outcome of the process.
The voters are optimistic that process will end peacefully and the outcome accepted in good fate
