Anambra State Police Arrest 2 For Kidnap And Murder

Anambra State Police Command have confirmed the arrest of two wanted kidnappers who took the sum of 14 million naira as ransom from the family of a female banker and ended up killing the victim 

The Command’s Spokesman, Tochukwu Ikenga, confirmed to journalists that the suspects were arrested on May 28.

Ikenga said the victim’s lifeless body was discovered along Nnobi road on January 13, 2025, with her eyes tied, after the abductors had already received the ransom.

“Following the assurance of the Anambra State Police Command to follow up cases until suspects are apprehended to prevent further criminal activities in the State, two suspects were arrested on 28th May 2025,” he said.
