Several dead bodies including that of a pregnant woman have been discovered buried in the house of a popular native doctor in Enugu
According to sources, the native doctor who became popular in his town after claiming to have gone back to his roots has been busted for performing blood rituals
Videos now viral were shared online that shows the scary scene uncovered in his compound when community members ransacked it.
Locals discovered underground pits where bodies were buried in the compound in Umumba Ndiagu in Ezeagu Local Government Area, Enugu State.
It is believed they were buried alive because of the upright position they were found
One of the bodies was that of a heavily pregnant woman kneeling upright in the video.
The security man guiding the building was beaten and stripped naked by community youths. After several questions and interrogations, he denied involvement in the killings but admitted frequenting the native doctor’s residence for ritual purposes.
Meanwhile, the native doctor, who was popular and had received several awards in the state, is on the run but community members have burnt his houses and cars.
