Leicester City Striker and Captain, Jamie Vardy have decided to leave the club at the end of the season putting an end to a illustrious career at the club as their “greatest ever player”
During the 2011 season, Vardy showcased his talent in the fifth division, playing for an amateur side and netting an impressive 37 goals in just 23 matches. At 26, he made the leap to Leicester City at the start of the 2013 season.
Just three seasons later, Vardy had firmly established himself, helping Leicester City secure the Premier League title in what was an unforgettable season following their promotion.
In that tittle winning season, Vardy won the top scorer award alongside Harry Kane, achieving this feat with limited resources, in what is often referred to as one of the greatest fairy tales in modern football.

At 37, Vardy made his return to the Premier League with Leicester, scoring a goal against Tottenham which created this iconic image of him pointing at the Premier League badge to wind the Spurs fans up.
