The shitf in power supply comes after growing concerns over the unreliable power supply and high cost of electricity from the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company
Earlier this year the Abuja electricity Distribution Company named the Presidential Villa as its biggest debtors in 2024 stating a total sum of N923.87 million in debt
The federal government have now allocated the sum of N10 billion for a solar power installation in order to reduce the annual cost of electricity consumed by the Villa
